Built with premium recycled aluminum alloy, the body is bathed in a zinc phosphate bath to prep it for improved adhesion of Reading’s durable powder coat finish, to resist corrosion better than any other service truck body on the market. The panel and tapered panel bodies offer interior work space with three or four full-length shelves on each side to provide carrying space for long-handled tools and equipment. In addition, they feature numerous exterior compartments with spring-loaded door holders on all vertical doors for ease of operation. Solid rear access doors lock securely with a two-point locking system.

Both the panel and tapered panel bodies are built on the Classic II™ service body and are available in heights of 50", 60" and 72". All models are available in fuel-saving aluminum or heavy-duty galvannealed steel. Panel and tapered panel bodies offer all the features you come to expect with a premium Reading truck body.
